A flurry of PS5 restock events is being reported for November, and the next one could be coming from Argos.
New information shared this weekend suggests that GAME and Argos will be releasing new PS5 stock over the coming days.
Sony has been working hard to provide more consoles before the end of 2021, and it looks like things are looking up in the UK.
While it hasn’t gotten any easier to buy a PlayStation 5, gamers will at least get a few more chances before 2022 starts.
GAME is expected to be the next major UK retailer to release stock this week, and this could happen as soon as November 16.
But this is expected to be quickly followed by Argos, with both retailers busily resupplying the next-gen gaming device over recent weeks.
GAME restocks typically include the PS5 Disc and Digital consoles as standalone purchases, as well as a range of bundles that include accessories, PS Plus membership and/or games.
Standalone PS5 consoles tend to sell out the fastest, so you’ll have more joy going after one of the many bundles on offer.
Meanwhile, Argos tends to offer the digital edition and provide different ways of buying it, both in-person and online.
Argos could share its latest console on November 18, although it appears that the restock is scheduled for closer to the end of next week, rather than the start.
The news has been shared by PS5 Stock UK – a reliable stock tracker account on Twitter – which is known for providing the best guides on what’s happening next.
The message posted on Twitter by PS5 Stock UK reads: “A massive #PS5 drop is expected by Argos around 18th-19th Nov.
“Multiple shipments have been received, both Disc & Digital Editions, making it the largest PS5 drop by Argos since launch. Should be an 8am drop, as usual, in-store & online.”
Knowing when a PS5 restock is happening can be vital, but it’s also worth knowing how each retailer handles its shipments.
And here are a few examples of how best to try and buy a PlayStation 5 console from leading UK retailers:
AMAZON UK: Amazon UK runs better under strain but still comes with a few kinks worth mentioning. Having an account set up with your card details is a good start, and gamers should also try adding a console to their wishlist before checking out.
ARGOS: The Argos website is notorious for crashing and being unable to complete purchases when site traffic is high. Stock trackers suggest using the mobile Argos app and keeping an eye on local store listings. Argos is expected to drop new stock between November 18 and November 19.
GAME: GAME is a UK retailer that offers the most regular stock updates for PS5 consoles. However, console hunters have been warned to use Guest Checkout, as this option is less likely to crash when completing a purchase. A new PlayStation 5 shipment is expected to hit shelves between November 16 and November 19.
