Cheryl has opened up on her experience taking sleeping pills ‘for overthinking’ and how they made her feel ‘groggy’.
The star, 38, is currently promoting her collaboration with We Are Feel health products and encouraged her followers to use a natural sleep aid, after previously not having success with medication provided by her doctor.
She detailed her own experience in the past of calling her doctor when she couldn’t sleep, but admitted the prescribed medication made her feel “groggy” and meant she “couldn’t get going the next day”.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Cheryl explained: “If you’re anything like me and have trouble with overthinking and under-sleeping, then you should definitely try the Sleep Feel vitamins.

Cheryl has been open in the past about how stress can affect her body, including her weight loss after splitting with second husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, as well as being open about using therapy as a way to help with life’s problems.
The star – who shares son Bear, four, with Liam Payne – has also been open over her heartbreak over the death of her friend and Girls Aloud bandmate Sarah Harding.
In a post shared in tribute of what would have been Sarah’s 40th birthday today, montage of her friend and former bandmate, and it dated all the way back to their first months in Girls Aloud.
“Memories may be all we’re left with, but they’re enough to last a lifetime #Sarahs40th,” Cheryl, 38, captioned her poignant post.
In the clip, scenes of the band members at awards shows, performing in concerts, and a selection of hilarious interviews intertwined to form a powerful patchwork of memories of Sarah.
“She was kind of the crazy one, who was just unique and in her own world,” Cheryl said with a smile at one moment of the clip.
