The actress, 34, and 31 year old Eastenders actor confirmed the safe arrival of their newborn to OK! after becoming parents over the festive period.
The soap stars told us: “Well…it’s been a busy week! Hope you all had a good one. HAPPY NEW YEAR from the three of us.”
The exclusive first adorable snap of the three of them shows Amy and Toby pushing a pram along while looking lovingly at their baby.
Before this exciting news, when we last caught up with Amy, back in November, she seemed to be looking forward to the challenge of labour as she told us she feels like she was “made” to give birth.

“I feel weirdly excited about it,” the star, who’s sister is Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh, admitted.
“I’m sure everyone who’s been through it reading this will laugh but it’s something I’ve always wanted to experience.”
She continued: “I’ve always felt I was made to do it. I’m very aware of how scary it could be so I know it won’t be a bed of roses, but what I’m most looking forward to is going through that journey with Toby.”
The star went on to add that she and Toby are a “really good team.”
She explained: “I know we’ll thrive off whatever is thrown our way. We’re just starting our online antenatal classes. I don’t have a plan. It’s not in my nature to plan and any sort of plan would be setting me up for disappointment.”
The actress, who has yet to reveal the gender of their first child, also told us that she and Toby had some ideas for names for the newborn.
“We have one for each which we were set on before we were even pregnant,” she said.
“They’re from our lockdown walks when we were talking about our baby names.
“We’ve even called the bump those names, one day the girl name, the next the boy name, but then recently I’ve been like, ‘I feel a bit bored of these names [laughs]!’ So we’re starting to discuss them again.”
