Ex-MP Gyles Brandreth has been given his own segment on festive family woolies including for pets. The 73-year-old was famous for his colourful knitwear in the 70s and 80s
This Morning guest star Gyles Brandreth has plucked his own slot picking the best Christmas jumpers.
He was famous for his colourful knitwear in the 70s and 80s before becoming a favourite doing news reviews on the ITV1 show.
But now the ex-MP, 73, has been given his own segment on festive family woolies including for pets.
A source said: “Gyles’ jumpers are such a hit with viewers it made sense to dedicate part
of the show to them.”
Starting from Monday, the week will be packed with seasonal food treats from Jamie Oliver, Phil Vickery and Nadiya Hussain.
The set will also use foliage from the show’s forest, which the Mirror had revealed.
Alice Beer and Steve Wilson will give advice on gifts while Leona Lewis and Jo O’Meara will sing.
This Morning is on ITV1 at 10am.
