Joe Swash risked payback when he filmed wife-to-be Stacey Solomon fast asleep on a chair in their brilliant Pickle Cottage
Joe Swash took to Instagram on Monday to poke fun at his wife-to-be Stacey Solomon.
The former EastEnders man, 39, played a risky game by uploading a photo of the Loose Women panellist, 32, falling asleep in the chair.
He had earlier shared a snap of him cradling their newborn baby Rose alongside the caption: “Daddy’s bossing it,” followed by a wink to the camera.
Shortly after, Joe filmed Stacey dozing as she sat on the seat wearing an oversized jumper.
Her can be heard saying: “Oh, mummy’s had a long day.
“Who falls asleep like that anyway? What do I do, let her sleep like that or wake her up? If I let her sleep like that and she wakes up with a bad neck I will not hear that last of it.”
He also said in the caption on the post: “If I don’t wake her up she will kill me for letting her get a bad neck”
The mum-of-four later shared the post on her own Story and commented: “This just about sums up my day today.”
The “relaxation” comes after a host of hard work as the star tries to make her Pickle Cottage her perfect home.
Stacey shared an emotional post over the weekend as she showed little tot Rose her bedroom for the first time.
The room, which Stacey shared with the world in a series of short videos, was painted pink and adorned with flowers and toys.
“[Rose] was so settled and alert so I showed her her room,” she commented.
“I didn’t realise how emotional I would get about being in here with Rose,” she confessed in one video, which featured her new baby lying in a basket in the bedroom.”
She continued: “Rose I dreamed of bringing you in here, feeding you in your chair, playing with you, getting you dressed, just everything.
“It was even more special than I could have ever dreamed of. I can’t wait to watch you grow up in here.”
Thankfully – for Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen at least – the room didn’t appear to have any grey added to it.
The Changing Rooms presenter had recently criticised the star for overusing the colour.
Earlier this month while to the Mirror on the red carpet of the Together For Short Lives Ball, the 56-year-old offered the affable Stacey a bit of advice : “Move on from the bloody grey!”
The TV star – who was attending the event alongside wife Jackie – went on to tell any budding decorators: “Bring your personality out, not just Stacey Solomon grey!”
