Pride of Britain live: Vicky Pattison and Molly-Mae lead red carpet glamour at emotional event


The Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards have officially kicked off in glamorous style, with the UK’s most famous faces descending on London’s Grosvenor House to celebrate our unsung heroes

Vicky Pattison and Molly-Mae Hague were among the first famous faces to arrive for the Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards.

The glitzy ceremony has officially kicked off, with the UK’s biggest celebs descending on London’s Grosvenor House to celebrate the nation’s unsung heroes.

The annual ceremony, being hosted by Carol Vorderman and Ashley Banjo, aims to honour people who’ve saved lives and made big differences in their communities.

It’s always an emotional night, with the star-studded audience encouraged to take along tissues and break out the waterproof mascara.

Among the famous faces heading into the bash was former I’m A Celebrity queen Vicky Pattison, who looked sensational in a glitzy plunging gown with feathers on one shoulder that demanded attention.

Love Island star Molly-Mae stood out from the crown in an attention-grabbing brown gown with a sheer skirt and plunging neckline, as well as a cut-out design.

Former Corrie star Catherine was also there looking gorgeous in a jewell-covered white gown that hugged her baby bump.

The actress cradled her bump as she posed up for snappers, looking stunning with her brunette hair in a classic up do.

Comedian Katherine also stunned on the red carpet in a bold yellow gown with a plunging neckline and an asymmetric skirt that revealed one of her legs.

The Saturdays star turned TV presenter Rochelle Humes looked as gorgeous as ever in a brown co-ord with flowing skirt and a crop top that unveiled her toned tummy.

Former Corrie actress Lucy Fallon was pretty as a picture as she arrived in a white dress with intricate cut-out detailing that formed the outline of a floral design.

Carol has hosted the awards for more than 20 years, and for the first time ever this year, is being joined by a co-host – Diversity star Ashley.

Britain’s Got Talent winner Ashley has said he’s honoured to be stepping into the role, after being involved with the awards for the last few years.

He said: “I feel like I’ve been a part of Pride of Britain for a few years now but the chance to co-host it next to Carol, who is a complete legend and a pro, is amazing.

Carol added: “Ashley is a wonderful person and I’m delighted that he’s joining me because he has been involved for a few years now and it just feels right.

“The Pride of Britain Awards are incredibly special evening and show to be a part of.”
