Tristan Thompson stars in polygamy-themed music video amid Khloe Kardashian drama

Tristan Thompson has popped up in US rapper Drake’s new polygamy-themed music video for the track Falling Back, just days after The Kardashians’ season finale explored Khloe Kardashian’s heartbreak as she learned he had fathered a child with another woman.

While basketball player Tristan, 31, was confirmed to be the father of personal trainer Maralee Nicols’ baby son in January, fans watched as a devastated Khloe, 37, dealt with the devastating news in the latest episode of the reality show.

Khloe, who recently stepped out in a stunning white jumpsuit for the Kardashians finale premiere, shares daughter True, three, with Tristan, and despite previous cheating allegations, the reality TV star had been determined to try and make it work in a relationship with him.

Sadly, Khloe broke down in tears and later revealed she’d fainted after struggling with the stress of finding out her daughter’s father had cheated on her and had a baby with someone else.

As a result, viewers were freshly-angry with the NBA athlete so the timing of the music video comes as a puzzling one to many.

In the video, singer Drake explores the premise of what it would be like to marry a whopping 23 women at once.

Enlisting Tristan to take part in the concept, the basketball star appears in the first 30 seconds of the video.

“You ready?” he asks groom Drake, who is taking deep breaths in his wedding suit.

“I’m ready,” the singer says, as ‘Best Man’ Tristan tries to reassure him otherwise.

“Doesn’t feel right, we scrap it, we go home, it’s not…” the athlete says, but Drake tells him it’s a “good time for me, I’m ready to settle down, I’m in love”.

“I’m happy for you, now let’s get you right,” Tristan then says. The rapper then joins his 23 fiancées at the altar.

Sharing their thoughts on the unexpected cameo via Twitter, one person posted: “I wonder if Tristan Thompson went home alone after shooting that video with Drake! #HonestlyNevermind #Drake #Kardashian.”
