Zinedine Zidane has reportedly turned down the chance to become the next Manchester United manager.
Although it looks like they’ll have to go to Plan B following reports that Zidane has rebuffed their approach.
It’s understood that the Frenchman isn’t prepared to work in England yet, and his wife is apparently not keen on the move either.
United will have to turn their attention to other targets such as Brendan Rodgers, Mauricio Pochettino and Erik ten Haag, who have all been linked with the club in recent weeks.
United have been keen on Pochettino for some time, but it’ll likely be difficult to prise him away from Paris Saint Germain, given that he only joined the club 10 months ago.
Although in a surprising turn of events, reports suggest that PSG would look to hire Zidane if Pochettino does end up jumping ship to United.
Zidane is one of the world’s most in-demand coaches following two successful spells with Madrid.
